Pre Production: Depict!

Tuesday 30/09/14:

We decided on our story for Depict, we put all of our ideas together and decided on quite possibly the most sinister of them all! However we chose this one due to the fact that all Depict entries are generally quite different from normality so we hope that in turn this will make our short good viewing. We have also managed to assign ourselves job roles so we can be proactive in producing our work as a group. We hope that we will be able to produce a short worthy of entry to Depict! However we are more concerned at this point with attempting to get all of our pre-production completed before we even think about tackling the filming.

Wednesday 01/10/14:

Today we began producing our shot list so that we could be able to move on swiftly. We feel that the quicker we produce our shot list, the quicker we will be able to move ahead with other stuff and get all of the paper work done. This will allow us to be able to move on to shooting our film as soon as possible so that we can get out editing done so that we don't fall behind.
We have had various ideas on what direction we should go with our shot list with the details still being fined out.
Finally, today we also decided which bits of paperwork each of us will be completing, so that we can hopefully have everything done by next Thursday (filiming day)

Thursday 02/10/14:

Today we began our storyboard after finishing our shot list yesterday. This in turn is the hardest part of the paper work as unfortunately, no one in our group can actually draw! However with the work we have produced so far, we feel we are managing to do good work with the ability in which all of us occupy. We will all continue to chip in, to try and produce a good standard of work.
We have decided that we will all share the weight of it, with Annie completing the drawings and me and Connor producing the writing for the piece. We feel this is the most efficient way to work as a group.

Friday 03/10/14:

Today we finished of our storyboard. We are pleased with the work in which we have completed here. We also finished our release forms for out actors, and we have completed a recce and decided we are going to filming at a house in Kessingland. We have today virtually finished all of our paper work, leaving ourselves just needing to finish off some of the finer details on Monday.
The only paperwork that's needed to be completed now is our script, We left our script until after our shot list was completed as we wanted to complete the script once all of our other work was completed, to ensure our script would engross the viewer.

Below from here is all of the paperwork I have completed so far during the Pre-Production:

Actor release forms:

Risk assessment:

Storyboard:
